Katherine visits with medieval and renaissance enthusiasts at these events, where she presents the controversial case for Montfort’s legacy. His role in creating England’s Parliament is central to adoption of democratic rule in most of the civilized world, and the possibility that he fathered King Edward I would make him an ancestor of every royal family in the British Empire.

Here Katherine dons Tudor period garb for Renaissance Faires while her medieval robes are still in research. She discusses Simon’s life and times with visitors and will sign copies of the latest volume of her book MONTFORT: The Founder of Parliament.
